Does this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?
If the Philadelphia 76ers can pull off a trade for James Harden, then more power to them I guess! He is a much better overall talent than that of Ben Simmons and the 76ers have proven that they can win without Danny Green in their rotation this year.
Green has missed 5 games this season and the 76ers are 4-1 in those games. They have spread the ball a lot better and while they may not have looked as strong defensively, guys like Shake Milton, Furkan Korkmaz and Georges Niang have all been playing so well, so getting them more playing time should be a priority for this team right now.
For a team that is looking to win a championship immediately, the 76ers need to try and move Simmons for the best All-Star talent they can. Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal have been two names that have come up a lot in regards to who the 76ers are targeting and it is hard to imagine that James Harden’s name is not right next to theirs on Daryl Morey’s “To-Do” list.

Will the Nets accept this trade?
No they will not.
Should the Philadelphia 76ers try to offer it to Brooklyn anyways?
Yes, because the worst thing that happens is that the Nets hang up the phone and do not pick back up.

The Philadelphia 76ers have nothing to lose trying to go after James Harden so there is no reason that they should not have him high on their list of trade targets for Ben Simmons. It is completely unrealistic that they will have a chance to get him, but this trade would make complete sense for the Sixers.
