The Chicago Bulls revamped their roster this NBA offseason. They were very aggressive in upgrading the team, as they want to return to the postseason and show Zach LaVine that a contender can be built in Chicago with him as the centerpiece.
LaVine could be a free agent in 2022, making this season a very important one for the Bulls. However, Chicago has thrived and sustained its early success so that isn’t much of a concern at this point.
The Bulls had their foundation in place with LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. This offseason, they improved around that core, acquiring Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and Alex Caruso.
The team has the talent to compete for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference but could use a little more depth at some spots. Acquiring a few more veteran pieces wouldn’t hurt either for a playoff push.
