1 Trade Target For Charlotte Hornets To Solidify Roster

Charlotte Hornets, NBA
NBA Analysis Network

The Charlotte Hornets came into the 2021-22 NBA season looking to take a step forward in their rebuilding process. In fact, they came in believing that they could be a playoff contender in the Eastern Conference. So far this season, they have made that goal turn into a reality and have been a very competitive basketball team.

Just 15 games into the season, the Hornets are 8-7. That record may not look super impressive, but they have lost to some very good teams. They have also defeated some very good teams as well.

While the team has looked great, there is still room for the Hornets to improve their roster. A trade ahead of the NBA trade deadline could be in play for Charlotte. If they do look to make a move, there is one player in particular that could make a ton of sense.

LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier form a very capable scoring back-court. Gordon Hayward, when he’s healthy, is a very good scorer himself. Outside of those main pieces, the Hornets could still use a better supporting cast.
