Golden State Warriors Receive: F Harrison Barnes, G/F Buddy Hield, G Tyrese Haliburton
Sacramento Kings Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, G Moses Moody
This would be a pretty significant trade for both teams to be making. The Sacramento Kings would seemingly be heading toward a retooling of the roster with this deal, while the Golden State Warriors would be cashing in some of their assets for pieces to help them win now.
Golden State is getting a familiar face in Harrison Barnes, who has been excellent for Sacramento this season. He has been their best player with his high-efficiency scoring, strong rebounding, and versatile defense.
Joining him is sharpshooter Buddy Hield. Hield has embraced a role coming off the bench thus far with the Kings but can be a starter. A trade involving him seems to be a case of when, not if, a deal is announced as the team nearly traded him away this offseason.
Tyrese Haliburton might be falling out of favor in Sacramento, as his fit alongside De’Aaron Fox is starting to become a cause for concern. Golden State would love to use his combo guard skills.

Heading to Sacramento are two recent lottery picks with a lot of upside in James Wiseman and Moses Moody. Unable to have a chance to develop in Golden State with their win-now mentality, they can be afforded that chance with the Kings.
Andrew Wiggins gives Sacramento a possible building block on the wing they can evaluate for the remainder of his contract.
How does this trade impact each team? Let’s take a look at it from their perspectives, starting with the Warriors.
