2. Charlotte Hornets
After a strong start to the 2021-22 season, the Charlotte Hornets have come plummeting back down to Earth. After starting the season 5-2, they have lost five consecutive games, which coincided with Terry Rozier’s return to the lineup.
Reacclimating someone that has missed some time isn’t an easy task, but could Rozier possibly not be a good fit for the starting five in Charlotte? They played great basketball when he was on the sidelines, so maybe the rotation needs a little shake-up in the form of Josh Hart.
A big issue for the Charlotte Hornets has been their defense or lack thereof. They are currently last in the NBA in defensive rating with a 114.2. They cannot stop their opponents from scoring right now, and Hart would help stymie that issue.
Josh Hart is a versatile defender. He can defend both backcourt spots, wing players, and in some instances frontcourt players as well. His strength enables him to bang down low with bigger players, making him a coach’s dream when it comes to lineup configuration.

The Charlotte Hornets are also near the bottom of the league in defensive rebounding percentage, so they could certainly use some help on that end of the court.
