2. Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers have been going back and forth on the idea of breaking up their jumbo frontcourt pairing of Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner. If they decide to do that, they could be in the market for a more natural power forward.
The Sabonis and Turner pairing has some positives, but both players are likely better suited to be playing center. The team is usually better when only one of them is on the court, so if they decide to ultimately go down the trade route, the Charlotte Hornets are one team they could call.
Adding a power forward of P.J. Washington’s caliber would help the Indiana Pacers to balance out their roster. They do not have a true power forward on the team if you consider Sabonis as a center. Washington would be a good pairing alongside Sabonis because of his floor-spacing and improved defense.
The Hornets are a team that could use Turner as well. Mason Plumlee was a solid addition to help shore up the center spot, but having him in a reserve role would help lengthen the rotation and strengthen the team.

A swap involving Washington and Turner would benefit both the Charlotte Hornets and Indiana Pacers. Charlotte gets an anchor for their defense and some more floor-spacing in the frontcourt. Indiana can move Sabonis to the center spot, providing balance to their roster and possibly opening up more playing time for recent first-round picks Goga Bitadze and Isaiah Jackson.
