New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans might not be the exciting name that could land Westbrook but they might line up best in a trade. It is clear that New Orleans has been interested in improving the backcourt and that is why they went out and got Devonte’ Graham. They could take the next step by adding an All-Star caliber guard to go with their young core.

Zion Williamson has struggled with injuries during his career and has been unable to get on the floor consistently. When he plays, it is clear that he is the centerpiece for the Pelicans and the player that they want to keep around long-term.

If this is the case, they might want to add another dynamic player that can get the New Orleans Pelicans into contention. Westbrook would be able to be brought in town for a package led by Brandon Ingram.

The New Orleans Pelicans will be able to put together the right pieces in order to get Westbrook at the top of the offense.
