It was quite the offseason for the Miami Heat. Pat Riley made some major improvements this offseason so the team could get back to its winning ways. As the season progresses, Miami could decide to make some more moves in order to remain in contention.
The Miami Heat acquired Kyle Lowry in a sign-and-trade deal with the Toronto Raptors. This gave the team the all-star point guard that it has been looking for.
The Heat is balanced on both ends of the floor and Lowry helps take them to the next level. If McCollum would join Miami, the Heat would have a legitimate backcourt that could contend with any in the league.
It would all come down to if they could afford the move. Duncan Robinson signed a lucrative contract extension in the offseason so the Miami Heat might have to move some pieces.
