Would this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?
It could all come full circle for Harrison Barnes and the Golden State Warriors. They spent four years together from 2012-16 before Barnes joined the Dallas Mavericks.
Now, the two could reunite as the Warriors look to fill out their rotation and become a force in the Western Conference once again.
Barnes is off to a hot start this season averaging 28.1 points per game. He would not have to score as much if he joins the Warriors in a lesser role. This does not mean that he would not be valuable.
Barnes would bring a new dynamic to the small forward position that could help right away. He is an experienced player and that is what the Warriors are looking for. He was a fan favorite during his time in Golden State and would be welcomed back with open arms.

The Warriors should be prioritizing players like Barnes who could bring leadership on and off the floor. Barnes would run to the Warriors if it meant he would have a chance to win a championship this season.
