Los Angeles Clippers
Without Kawhi Leonard, the Los Angeles Clippers are going to have a hard time early on in the season figuring out their identity. He is a Top-10 player in this league and while they have Paul George to try and mitigate the troubles this team will face without Leonard on the court, they still have question marks surrounding who else can step up on this roster.
Reggie Jackson, Eric Bledsoe, and Marcus Morris Sr. are all really solid secondary contributors, but can these three take on a bigger scoring load all season long without Kawhi Leonard for the Clippers?
Finding ways to add more talent to their roster is a must for Los Angeles this season, hence why they could look to add another frontcourt piece like Marvin Bagley III.
He is in no way a player that can step up in Kawhi’s absence and keep the Los Angeles Clippers a championship contender in the Western Conference, but Bagley would join the Clippers’ group of solid contributing assets and be yet another player they can turn to here and there for high-level production.

Outside of Paul George, the one thing this roster has in common with one another is that they all possess the ability to step up sporadically throughout the season.
All of them may not score 20-plus points on any given night, but Reggie Jackson may have a great game one day, then the next could be Eric Bledsoe, then Morris the next, and so on.
Adding Marvin Bagley to this group not only gives the Los Angeles Clippers a young talent to potentially build with on their roster but another one of these guys who can give this team solid production in a rotation-based system.

They would have to likely leverage Luke Kennard and a draft pick or two in this situation in order to trade for Bagley, but the upside is there for the Clippers in this potential trade.
Seeing as they have an $8.25M TPE to use sometime this season though, it seems a little more reasonable to believe the Los Angeles Clippers would target a little less expensive option to add to their roster for more scoring.
