Would this trade make sense for the New Orleans Pelicans?

The New Orleans Pelicans are trying to become a relevant team in the Western Conference. Doing so is not an easy task as Zion Williamson remains sidelined at the early stage of the regular season and the team sits with an 0-3 record.

They have some star power but have been unable to turn that into wins in hopes of getting to the postseason. With Graham at the top to pair with Williamson, the Pelicans are hoping they can take that next step.

Thaddeus Young could be a big help. He is not the missing piece but he can score consistently and play strong defense. Young brings a dynamic to the Pelicans that would be welcomed right away — offering a chance for New Orleans to gain that leader on and off the floor.

Young has played in some big games and that experience is necessary for a team looking to get to that next level. The Pelicans have to build the right team around Williamson and this is a move to get that necessary depth off the bench to improve.
