Would this trade make sense for the Detroit Pistons?

All rebuilding teams that would be interested in Ben Simmons have something to offer the Philadelphia 76ers. This includes the Detroit Pistons if they send over Jerami Grant in a potential deal.

Grant is one of the true three-and-D players in the league. He is the type of player that would fit right in for the Sixers as they look to win a championship. He has the length to make things difficult on the defensive end while improving as a scorer each year.

Grant averaged 22.3 points per game for the Pistons this past season and proved that he could be the focal point of the offense. He would not have as much pressure on him with the Sixers and that would only help other areas of his game improve.

The Sixers have great depth with this move but a player like Grant cannot be overlooked. Tobias Harris and Grant can both play each forward position and could be a seamless fit alongside each other playing alongside Joel Embiid, who would continue to be the top option.
