Early on in the offseason, there was some discussion about how the Brooklyn Nets could possibly be interested in Myles Turner, but no real trade offers ever formulated. Brooklyn should definitely have interest in Turner because of what he can do for them on both ends of the floor.

Through six seasons in the league, the Pacers’ big man has averaged 12.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and has shot 48.7% from the floor, 35.2% from three-point range.

Having the ability to block shots at one end of the floor and then immediately hit a three-pointer out of a pick-and-roll set on the other side of the floor is so valuable and he should have no problem playing with the likes of Harden and Durant, two premier scorers of this generation.

Justin Holiday is also not a bad commodity for the Nets to add for depth on the wing. In the last two seasons in Indiana, Holiday has shot 39.2% from three-point range and he really is not that bad of a perimeter defender either. With Irving being out, the Nets should be more than willing to add some other versatile scorers to their depth chart, hence why Justin Holiday could hold some value to this team.

LATEST NBA NEWS & RUMORS: 3 Myles Turner Trades For Indiana Pacers To Consider

On the other side of things, the Indiana Pacers are not only looking to make it back to the playoffs, but they are looking to prove that they are a threat in the Eastern Conference for years to come. Myles Turner has been great for them, but is he really a player they can depend on long-term to make them a real threat?

Turner is a great secondary talent, but his upside with the Pacers is slightly limited since he will always be overshadowed by the likes of Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, and others.

Adding a sharpshooter like Joe Harris on the wing gives the Pacers a reliable shooting threat they can play through, especially since they were a very mediocre three-point shooting team last season.

LATEST NBA NEWS & RUMORS: 3 Myles Turner Trades For Indiana Pacers To Consider

This Turner for Harris swap was the main point brought up in the offseason in rumors and financially, this trade does work for both sides. Joe Harris is set to make $17.3M this season and Myles Turner is making $17.5M this season.

With both contracts aligning, there is definitely a deal to be had here that both sides can make work with no negative repercussions relating to taxes.
