Terance Mann – Los Angeles Clippers

After being drafted 48th overall in 2019, Terance Mann barely played his rookie season. Heading into the 2020-21 season, Mann focused a lot on becoming a better scorer from the perimeter, as well as becoming a stronger finisher.

The young guard/wing was in and out of rotations for the Clippers through the first two months of the season, but then he began to see his role increase to the point where Mann was getting 20-plus minutes per game. The more time he spent on the court, the more Terance Mann was able to showcase his abilities and when the Clippers were dealing with injuries in the postseason, he stepped up for his team.

Terance Mann only averaged 7.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in the playoffs, but he shot 51.9% from the floor and 43.2% from three-point range. Clippers fans will remember Mann forever, as in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Utah Jazz, he had a career-high 39 points in one of the best performances by a role player in playoff history.

With his role expected to continue to increase due to Kawhi Leonard being out, Mann was given a two-year, $22M contract extension on Tuesday and should prove to be a key talent for the Clippers to utilize in and out of the starting rotation.

Paul George and Reggie Jackson cannot do everything for this team alone, which is why Terance Mann will be a key asset for the Clippers to utilize on offense once again.
