Minnesota Timberwolves Receive: G Kyrie Irving

Building a hypothetical trade package that involves Kyrie Irving is extremely complicated. There is a lot of factors that go into a deal being made, paramount among them being Irving possibly retiring if he were to be traded.

The mercurial point guard also reportedly has virtually zero trade interest around the league. When taking those things into account, finding a landing spot for him is difficult. But, the Minnesota Timberwolves might fit the bill.

Minnesota can offer a solid trio of young players in return for Irving. D’Angelo Russell was part of the turnaround of the Brooklyn Nets a few years ago and will now have a chance to finish what he started.

Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid are entering their second and third seasons in the NBA.
