Sacramento Kings Receive: C Myles Turner, F Jeremy Lamb
Indiana Pacers Receive: G Buddy Hield, 2022 First Round Pick Swap
Buddy Hield would be the centerpiece of this NBA trade scenario going back to the Indiana Pacers. He would give them another weapon along the perimeter next paired with talents like Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, and Caris LeVert.
A trade of this nature would build an even stronger backcourt in Indiana and that would be the focal point on both ends of the floor. LeVert could slide over to the small forward spot with TJ Warren as a small-ball power forward as he did in the NBA Bubble when both players are healthy.
In return, the Pacers will be able to unload Turner to the Kings. Indiana would commit to a clear identity around Sabonis by surrounding him with perimeter talent and particularly shooting.
Sacramento has seen Marvin Bagley III come up and rumors so if he has moved, Turner would be the perfect replacement. The Kings have been terrible defensively and sorely need a way to raise the floor of their unit. With Davion Mitchell’s arrival in addition, there could be real progress by adding Turner.

The Kings would also land a bench piece in Jeremy Lamb, who has plenty of experience in this role. The appeal there is that he is on an expiring contract and would help to reduce future salary cap obligations given the gap between the 2022-23 salary for Turner and Hield.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Myles Turner would impact both the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings.
