Who else could swing a trade?

Then when you look at the Minnesota Timberwolves, they are the complete opposite of the Pacers. Trading D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and Jaden McDaniels for Ben Simmons would be a fantastic move for this organization to make in order to pair three former No. 1 picks together.

The trio formed would consist of Ben Simmons, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Anthony Edwards, but the question now becomes whether or not the Philadelphia 76ers would be willing to come down to this price after not accepting an offer similar for the Timberwolves earlier this offseason.

There are just so many “what if’s” in this Ben Simmons story and quite honestly, there is still no end in sight. If the 76ers trade Simmons, they may not get enough value in return to contend against the Nets, Bucks, and Heat in the Eastern Conference, and if they keep Simmons, well… they may not actually have him on their roster if he continues to hold out.

Neither the 76ers as an organization nor Ben Simmons as an All-Star-caliber player are in a good situation right now and while we keep on saying that we expect a decision/conclusion to come soon, there just does not seem to be any advancements in trade talks as of right now.
