What about the Indiana Pacers?
Daryl Morey and the Sixers are not going to get this kind of value, especially at this point, so there really is no telling where we are going to go from here in terms of the next chapter in this saga. The Indiana Pacers remain a team that is interested in trading for Ben Simmons, even at this point in the year, but the details of what they are offering seem to be all over the place.
There are no factual reports of what the Pacers have been offering and everything is just speculation as of right now, but it does appear that a deal of Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert could get the deal done for Indiana to acquire Simmons.
However, this may not be the best-case scenario for the Pacers. Brogdon had an All-Star-like season last year next to Domantas Sabonis and entering his sixth season in the NBA, there are heavy expectations that Malcolm Brogdon could continue to grow into one of the better two-way threats at the point guard position in this league.
As for Caris LeVert, he is currently sidelined with a fracture in his back, but he is a guy the Pacers traded for last season and are really high on. LeVert is 27-years-old and is entering a big year in his career to prove that he can take the next step on offense, but moving him would mean that Indiana would have to give up another 20-plus point per game scorer.
LATEST NBA NEWS & RUMORS: This Pacers-Sixers Trade Is Centered Around Ben Simmons
T.J. Warren is still sidelined and while the Pacers are hopeful they can get him back before Thanksgiving, there is no clarity on when he will be able to return from foot surgery stemming from an injury last season. That leaves this team with Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner, and potentially Ben Simmons, leaving them as a lost and broken offensive team.
Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert are the Pacers’ two best scoring options next to Sabonis and while they would likely be open to moving one of them for Ben Simmons, moving them both would immediately take the Pacers out of the running for an actual spot in the playoffs.

Maybe they could still earn a play-in tournament spot, but getting Simmons at the cost of Brogdon and LeVert is not necessarily a great move for this organization.
