2. Jayson Tatum finishes top 5 in scoring
Jayson Tatum has improved each year he has been in the league. His midrange game is elite and he can score in a plethora of ways. Heading into the season, there is no question who the offensive leader is in Boston and Tatum could be one of the top in the league.
Tatum has improved in scoring in each of his four years in the league. This includes a career-high 26.4 points per contest in 64 games a season ago. He was a leader in 30-point games and while he is still off from averaging that number, he has a chance to bump his numbers up once again.
Jayson Tatum has shown consistent rises and that could continue this year. With the Celtics moving on from Kemba Walker, there’s a clearer two-man tandem in the offense for high usage.
Tatum is not considered one of the five best players in the game but that does not mean he cannot put up one of the best scoring seasons in the league.
