Dallas Mavericks Receive: G Coby White, G Javonte Green
Chicago Bulls Receive: C Moses Brown, G Trey Burke, 2022 Second-Round Pick, 2024 Second-Round Pick

The Dallas Mavericks would receive Coby White as the centerpiece of this hypothetical NBA trade scenario.

It appears as though White is not part of the Chicago Bulls’ long-term plans. The team made an aggressive push to upgrade its talent at the point guard position this offseason with the additions of Lonzo Ball and Alec Caruso.

There is already a desire from the Mavericks to move on from Burke. His COVID-19 vaccination status is preventing Dallas from reaching their goal of 100-percent and with more venues likely to add mandates, making a move now could be the best course of action from that standpoint.

Moses Brown is thought of as having solid potential as a player after showing flashes with the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. He is signed to a minimum contract and can bring depth at the center position for the Bulls.

This trade cannot be done until November 9th because Javonte Green has the recently signed restriction. He cannot be traded for three months and that date is when the restriction is lifted.

How does this trade impact both teams involved? Let’s take a look at it from each of their perspectives, starting with the Mavericks.
