The LA Clippers are in a bit of an awkward position this NBA offseason. They lost superstar Kawhi Leonard to a knee injury during their second-round series against the Utah Jazz.

Leonard remains without a timetable to return, but he could be sidelined for a majority if not all of, the 2021-22 season. With that looming over the franchise, their roster decisions were impacted.

Los Angeles will find it difficult to be true contenders without Leonard in the fold this season. But, they showed that they can still be a scrappy bunch.

Even without Leonard, they won two games in a row to defeat the Jazz to advance to the Western Conference Finals. They pushed the Phoenix Suns to six games in that series before being eliminated.

Paul George and Reggie Jackson pulled a lot of the weight without Leonard. They are both back, but adding some reinforcements to help them wouldn’t be the worst idea. The Clippers are entering the season with house money, knowing they could get Leonard back.

If not, making moves with an eye toward the future could be in the cards as well. Here are three trade targets for the LA Clippers entering training camp this year.
