Devin Booker leads the league in scoring
It’s always fun to try and predict who will lead the league in scoring each season. Trae Young is definitely a name to watch for and Stephen Curry could repeat as Klay Thompson remains sidelined for the Golden State Warriors.
The one name I would keep an eye on to lead the NBA in scoring this season is Devin Booker.
Following the NBA Finals appearance for the Phoenix Suns, Booker has shown that he’s on the cusp of being a superstar in the league. Even with Chris Paul returning, Booker leads the way in scoring in 2021-22.
Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden all combine for 50-40-90 season
It’s hard to argue that the Nets arguably have the best trio in the NBA with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden.

What made Brooklyn so impressive last season is the fact that they barely got a chance to have all three of them play together in the regular season. But with an offseason to get healthy, Durant, Irving, and Harden could be in for an efficient year this season.
After Irving joined the 50-40-90 club himself last season, Durant, Irving, and Harden will all combine to average a 50-40-90 season this year. I think it comes down to the efficiency of Harden from beyond the arc on whether or not this prediction becomes true.
