2. Buddy Hield
When the Chicago Bulls went about adjusting their roster this offseason, it seems like they didn’t account for how the pieces would fit together. They added the players they wanted and Billy Donvan was just going to have to figure out how to make it all work.
Lonzo Ball will fit right into the starting point guard spot and Alex Caruso will be a defensive-minded combo guard off the bench that can knock down shots from the 3-point line. But, the spacing is going to be very clunky at times.
DeMar DeRozan isn’t a floor spacer, which makes his fit on this team an awkward one. He has played a majority of his minutes at power forward with the San Antonio Spurs in recent seasons, but that is where Patrick Wiliams, the No. 4 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, should be playing his minutes.
If the Bulls are going to look for a redo on the DeRozan deal, they should look to the Sacramento Kings to make a deal. Swapping out DeRozan for someone such as Buddy Hield would help balance the roster out.

Buddy Hield is an elite 3-point shooter, knocking down 40.6 percent of his attempts in his career at a high volume. Hield isn’t at the level of DeRozan when it comes to playmaking but he would be a better fit for the current construction of the Bulls’ roster.
