It is said that JJ Redick would prefer to sign with a team on the East Coast since that is where his family is, but Redick has stated on his podcast that he is not planning on signing a deal with a team any time soon.

The sharpshooter is going to wait until the middle of the 2021-22 season to make a decision on his future, so signing with one of the best teams in the league definitely makes sense for him. 

If LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis are all healthy during the first half of the season, the Lakers will be one of the best teams in the entire league record-wise, which is why they could be the ideal landing spot for Redick.

He would have to move out to the West Coast for the remainder of the season, but if they have an open roster spot, why wouldn’t the Lakers want to sign JJ Redick?
