Best Potential Trade Destination For Malcolm Brogdon

Malcolm Brogdon has been a solid two-way guard for the Indiana Pacers. They have him an opportunity to spread his wings after three seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, and he has done it.

Brogdon is coming off of a career-high 21.2 points per game and can score in many ways. He made 45.3 percent of his shots overall, 38.8 percent from the 3-point line, and 86.4 percent of his free throws.

Last season, Brogdon also grabbed a career-high 5.3 rebounds per game and handed out 5.9 assists. While he may not be a prototypical point guard, and Indiana is unsure if he can be theirs going forward, he is more than capable of getting the job done.

Plenty of teams would like to have the 6’5” Brogdon in their backcourt. The Indiana Pacers offered him to the Philadelphia 76ers earlier in the offseason and the No. 13 overall pick for Ben Simmons. Philadelphia declined, which wasn’t surprising, but it showed teams around the league that Brogdon could be had.

The Portland Trail Blazers could look into Brogdon as a potential centerpiece of a deal involving CJ McCollum. The New Orleans Pelicans could also use a two-way guard after the departure of Lonzo Ball this offseason.

But, the one team that is the best potential trade destination for Brogdon would be the LA Clippers. He would be an excellent fit for them. Let’s take a look at why he would be a great fit in Los Angeles.
