Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks haven’t been able to land the secondary ball-handler they were seeking this offseason. If they cannot do that, they should continue adding some versatile wings around Luka Doncic to help take some pressure off him.
Jeremy Lamb performed rather well last season as he was knocking off the rust from his knee injury. Dallas would be banking on the improvement he showed as a shooter, which wasn’t a fluke.
Lamb would be the third player this offseason added by the Dallas Mavericks that made at least 40 percent of his 3-point attempts last season. Reggie Bullock and Sterling Brown were the other two players.
Both of them are also strong defenders, something Lamb can also provide. Standing 6’5” with a 6’11” wingspan, Lamb can be a difference-maker on the defensive end. He is athletic enough to defend both backcourt spots and long enough to handle wing players as well.

Adding him to the second unit would help replace what the Dallas Mavericks are losing from Josh Richardson being traded to the Boston Celtics earlier this summer.
