2. Kyle Anderson
When people mention possible trade targets for the Dallas Mavericks to add a secondary ball-handler, mostly guards are discussed. It makes sense, as guards usually handle the ball the most. But, some forwards would fit the bill, such as Kyle Anderson.
Anderson is a do-it-all player that made strides this past season with the Memphis Grizzlies. He has a high basketball IQ and is more than comfortable initiating and running some offense. Anderson was a secondary playmaker for the Grizzlies behind Ja Morant and would fill a similar role with the Mavericks alongside Luka Doncic.
Playing a point-forward role would allow Jason Kidd to mix and match his lineup combinations a little more. Anderson can play either small forward or power forward and is interchangeable based on his size and skill set.
The former UCLA product would also provide Dallas with another versatile defender. He can defend wing players or some guys in the frontcourt. Combined with Reggie Bullock, Dallas would finally have some options to help slow down opponents on the perimeter.

In addition, Anderson made a career-high 36 percent of his 3-point attempts last season. He made more, 94 than he did the first six seasons of his career combined. If that is a true breakthrough, he would help Dallas in multiple facets.
