Does this trade make sense for Philadelphia 76ers?
This is a great deal for the Philadelphia 76ers, but there is no chance that the Denver Nuggets accept nor propose a trade of this magnitude. Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon, and Monte Morris each would be fantastic additions for the Sixers’ roster, but the chances of getting one of these players are far-fetched.
Right now, the Philadelphia 76ers are in a tough position because while they can dream about trade proposals like this one, no team in the league is going to be willing to offer this for Ben Simmons.
Simmons is a 3x All-Star and one of the better defensive players in the league, but Simmons is a major liability on offense right now that teams do not want to sacrifice their best talents to get.
Denver could be interested in moving Aaron Gordon and Monte Morris for Ben Simmons, but including Michael Porter Jr. is not going to happen. Porter Jr. has a ton of potential in this league, and he is going to prove to be one of the best scoring wings this season as the No. 2 option in Denver, which is why he is “untouchable” right now.

Where Ben Simmons will end up and what the 76ers will get in return for him remains the biggest question heading into the 2021-22 season, but one thing we do know is that the All-Star 7-footer wants out, which is why the Sixers will likely be moving him before the start of the new season.
