Untapped Ability
When people discuss Myles Turner, everyone mentions that he is a capable floor spacer. He is a 35.2 percent 3-point shooter in his career and has seen his makes and attempts increase each season he has been in the NBA.
That shooting is something Washington could certainly use more of. They were 28th in 3-pointers made per game and 29th in attempts. They made 35.1 percent of their attempts, which ranked 22nd in the league.
Turner would certainly help them in that area, but there is a lot of untapped potential in his game. Playing alongside someone as talented as Domantas Sabonis meant that Turner was relegated to mostly spotting up around the perimeter.
No longer playing alongside Sabonis, and with a good stretch-4 in Davis Bertans, we can see more of what Turner can do offensively.

He has a good handle for a big man, showcasing it on some drives to the basket when he got defenders to jump on his pump fake. An array of layups and midrange jumpers would be on display as Turner has a decent pull-up jumper.
Seeing his offensive game expand beyond just being a stretch-5 would increase his value even more. While he needs to work on setting harder screens, he is a solid pick-and-roll player with a lot more to his game than just 3-point shooting.
