JJ Redick signs with a contender
Free agency is pretty much over, but JJ Redick still remains a free agent. The now 37-year-old sharpshooter has yet to sign a deal with a new team, even though he has received plenty of interest from championship-caliber teams like the Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and others.
While Redick is now the best free agent remaining in terms of the experience he would bring to a contending team, it does not seem like a decision is coming soon from him.
Based on the veteran’s comments in a recent podcast, JJ Redick is in “no rush” to return to action and it seems like he could wait until midseason to sign with a contending team.
At this point in his career, Redick really has nothing else to prove, and seeing as he maybe has a year or two left of playing, signing with a contending team to try and win a title really does make sense for him.

He currently ranks 15th on the All-Time three-pointers list and when Redick retires, he will go down as one of the best perimeter players of all time.
JJ Redick deserves this chance to play for a real team with a real chance to win a title after all this time in the NBA, which is why we would like to see him sign with a championship-caliber team.
