Tyrese Maxey
The trade rumors involving Tyrese Maxey are a bit bizarre. Maxey’s agent is Rich Paul, who also represents Ben Simmons. Simmons is enthralled in a mess with the Philadelphia 76ers, which Paul seems to want to break off completely.
As a result, there have been rumors popping up that Tyrese Maxey will be on his way out of Philadelphia as well. Paul has gone as far as to have Maxey cancel community engagements he was supposed to take part in so that he doesn’t develop roots in the city.
It is hard to imagine the 76ers doing anything just because Paul asks for it. They are high on Maxey and were hesitant to include him in deals for James Harden or Kyle Lowry during last season.
If they passed on the chance to acquire players of that caliber, it is hard to imagine the 76ers adding him to a Simmons deal just to appease Paul. The Kentucky product didn’t have big numbers but showed flashes of a player that can be a dynamic scorer in this league.

Tyrese Maxey will not be traded this offseason and will remain a 76er. He is more likely to have a new agent by the time the season rolls around than have a new team to play for.
