Indiana Pacers
If the Washington Wizards are going to look to flip some of their logjams at the forward spots to help another area of the team, the Indiana Pacers make sense as a trade partner. Myles Turner would be an excellent target for Washington.
Turner would help the team immensely on the defensive end of the court, providing them an anchor that they do not currently have. He would diversify their center position as well, providing the floor spacing that they are without with Thomas Bryant sidelined with an injury.
As for the Pacers, Kyle Kuzma would be an excellent fit in their rotation as well. Should Turner be moved, Kuzma could slide right into the starting power forward spot with Domantas Sabonis moving over to center.
Kuzma also provides the depth at the forward spot the Pacers lost with Doug McDermott signing with the San Antonio Spurs in free agency. While not the dead-eye shooter that McDermott is, Kuzma brings a more diverse offensive skill set with an upgrade in other areas such as defense, rebounding, and playmaking.

The Pacers are hoping that T.J. Warren can return to form as he was in the Orlando Bubble after he recovers from a foot injury. If he is unable to, Kuzma can fill his role as the team’s go-to scorer on the wing.
