1. Ben Simmons

The biggest fish seemingly available on the trade market right now is Philadelphia 76ers point guard, Ben Simmons. Simmons has made it clear that he no longer wants to be a part of the organization and trade seems imminent.

There are plenty of teams that would love to have Simmons on their roster, as the Kings, Toronto Raptors, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Portland Trail Blazers have all been mentioned as possible landing spots.

To take some of the heat off of himself, this is a deal that Monte McNair has to push hard to complete. Ben Simmons would be the star that Sacramento is hungry for and the acquisition of which should appease Vivek Ranadive.

While he has been reluctant to include De’Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton in any trade talks, this could be the deal that he considers it for. Randive could give him the same call that he gave Pete D’Alessandro and say, ‘get me Ben Simmons’ and he will have to pull out all the stops to do it to keep his job.

Ben Simmons is flawed offensively, but there is no denying his talent. He is an elite playmaker, rebounder, and defender. Those are things a team can work on and areas the Kings would certainly like to improve upon.
