3. Pascal Siakam
One of the players the Sacramento Kings have been linked to this offseason is Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors. While Siakam’s agent told NBC Sports that his client doesn’t want to be traded, the Kings should still push to pursue a deal for him.
Toronto used the fourth overall pick on Florida State power forward, Scottie Barnes. While Pascal Siakam doesn’t want to leave the team, there is a chance that the organization just selected his replacement in this year’s draft. As a result, they could look to move him to upgrade another area on the roster.
Siakam would be an excellent addition to a Kings team that is lacking options in the frontcourt. Marvin Bagley III has not panned out as hoped, as injuries have derailed him. Pascal Siakam would fill that void at power forward as well as anyone.
He is a two-way player with the size, athleticism, and strength to play any frontcourt spot. He is a mismatch nightmare as a small-ball center, especially when his 3-point shot is going down. On defense, he is long enough to cause problems across the board.

His presence defensively is what the Kings would cherish the most. Adding another 20+ point per game scorer is nice, but having someone that can slow down an opponent’s top scoring option in the frontcourt will help them even more.
