Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers landing on this list is an extension of the Ben Simmons trade rumors. The Sacramento Kings are one of the favorites, along with the Portland Trail Blazers, to land the former LSU product in a deal.

While Sacramento doesn’t have the name power Portland does with Damian Lillard or CJ McCollum, the Kings can put together a very strong package that includes Buddy Hield.

The Kings are reluctant to include De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton, but either of them with Hield would be an excellent start. 2021 first-round pick, Davion Mitchell, could also be on the table. Even if the 76ers don’t trade Simmons to the Kings, Hield makes for a great trade target given his skill set.

Hield would provide the 76ers with the floor spacing they crave around Joel Embiid.

He would fit in nicely alongside Danny Green with the 76ers, if he isn’t part of a future trade package back to Sacramento, as another high-volume 3-point sniper to open things up on the interior for Embiid to get to work.
