Indiana Pacers Receive: G CJ McCollum, F Nassir Little
Portland Trail Blazers Receive: G Malcolm Brogdon, G/F Jeremy Lamb, IND 2023 1st Round Pick (Lottery-Protected)
The Indiana Pacers have been in the news a lot in the offseason in terms of players being involved in trade rumors and CJ McCollum is a player who could fit in quite well there given his ability to move around on the perimeter.
The Pacers ranked 17th in the league in three-point shooting percentage last season and they are looking to make an impact this year in the Eastern Conference, which is why they could be looking to make a big move.
Earlier in the offseason, Jason Dumas of KRON4 News reported that the Philadelphia 76ers declined a trade offer from the Indiana Pacers for Ben Simmons that included Malcolm Brogdon and a first-round pick, meaning that Brogdon could be available if the Pacers can get a key talent in return.
Through five seasons in the league, Brogdon has elevated himself from being a second-round pick that won Rookie of the Year in 2016-17 to be a borderline All-Star last season after averaging 21.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and shooting 38.8% from deep.

Given the Pacers’ injury situations last year, Malcolm Brogdon stepped into a primary role on both ends of the court, making him a very intriguing trade target for the Blazers if they were to move McCollum.
One of the biggest weaknesses of the Portland Trail Blazers over the years has been their lack of defensive awareness, but with Malcolm Brogdon, they would definitely improve defensively.
On and off-the-ball, Brogdon makes a difference in games and he would fit in quite well next to Lillard on offense, especially since he is just as good of a scoring threat at CJ McCollum.

The Pacers are also interested in moving on from the contract of Jeremy Lamb sooner than later, so if they were to include both of these guys, as well as a first-round pick, they could definitely draw the attention of Portland in talks of a potential CJ McCollum trade.
