Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are gunning for the NBA Championship this season. After making it to the NBA Finals in the Orlando Bubble, they fell short of expectations this past season, getting swept out of the first round.
Looking to ensure that doesn’t happen again, Pat Riley overhauled the roster. Kyle Lowry, P.J. Tucker, and Markieff Morris were added to the roster. Duncan Robinson was re-signed as a restricted free agent, giving the Heat a very strong top of rotation along with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro.
But, the Heat could still use some more depth if they are to make a deep run in the postseason. Last season the lack of depth in the frontcourt hurt, and they are a little thin once again. DeMarcus Cousins could change that.
The Heat have Dewayne Dedmond and Omer Yurtseven, but there can be room made for Cousins. He showed with the Clippers he doesn’t need many minutes to make an impact and would provide some floor spacing and scoring the other centers on the roster can’t.

For a team with title aspirations, having some talented, veteran depth on the roster is never a bad thing.
