#2 Chicago Bulls
They may not have as big of a chance to win a title compared to the other three teams mentioned earlier, but the Chicago Bulls are going to be a very good basketball team this upcoming year. Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan joined Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic this offseason, making the Bulls a contending team in the Eastern Conference.
Seeing as these guys have yet to step out on the court together, it is hard to say that the Bulls can contend with the likes of the Nets, Bucks and 76ers in the Eastern Conference, but overall, they are going to be one of the stronger teams in the league, especially on offense.
The reason Chicago finds themselves ranked 2nd on this list is because they can offer Paul Millsap the most playing time out of any other team in the league. When you look at their roster, they really do not have a true power-forward and are in need of another big man to pair with Nikola Vucevic and Tony Bradley in the frontcourt.
“Rookie” big man Marko Simonovic will see some playing time, but entering the year as of right now, DeMar DeRozan or Patrick Williams are going to be starting at power-forward for the Bulls, which is not necessarily ideal. They need to add another forward before the season and there is no better guy for the job than Paul Millsap.

He may not bring much to the table defensively, but Millsap can still score in the low-post and aid the Bulls in rebounding, which is why he could be of use to this team on the rise in the Eastern Conference.
