#5 Los Angeles Lakers
In terms of chasing a title, the Lakers are definitely one of Millsap’s best potential landing spots in free agency. After they sign Rajon Rondo, the Lakers will still have 2 roster spots open and they could very well look to add another big man to their frontcourt.
Trevor Ariza and Carmelo Anthony are more of wings than true frontcourt options, which leaves the Lakers with Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol and Dwight Howard as their true big men. Seeing as Davis was hurt most of last season and Gasol being inconsistent, Los Angeles needs another frontcourt talent, which is why Paul Millsap would make sense for them.
He is experienced enough to the point where he could really thrive with other current and former All-Stars on this roster, as well as play sporadic minutes off-the-bench in search of his first title.
Not to mention, Millsap can still be a tough guy to box out with his 6’7” and 260 lbs frame, giving the Lakers another guy who can aid in rebounding efforts.

Overall though, the Lakers find themselves ranked 5th on this list because we do not really know how Los Angeles is going to look in terms of who plays when/where. Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the only guys we know are going to be productive and everyone else could very well end up seeing sporadic minutes, meaning this may not be the best fit for Millsap to contribute.
