Golden State has missed the playoffs the last two seasons, but prior to doing so, this was a franchise that had been to the NBA Finals in five consecutive years, winning three titles over this span. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are all still on the Warriors roster and are All-Star talents when fully-healthy, which is why Bob Myers could get aggressive in terms of adding another All-Star to this roster midseason.

Bradley Beal to the Warriors rumors have long been documented, especially this offseason, but there is a real chance that he could be on the move soon if he requests a trade. Seeing as Beal is eligible for a mega $235M contract extension next offseason, it seems unlikely that he would request a trade before getting said deal, but anything is possible!

Washington switched up their roster a lot this offseason and if they are struggling come near the NBA trade deadline, Bradley Beal could request out and in doing so, the Wizards would look to try and get the most return possible for him. Plenty of teams will be interested and could possibly offer up more assets than the Warriors, but Andrew Wiggins and James Wiseman are definitely two very valuable young players.

They could easily fit into the Wizards’ long-term plans to rebuild and Washington would also end up with some immediate draft compensation, including their own 2023 first-round pick they traded to Houston in the Russell Westbrook deal, which got re-routed to Oklahoma City during this year’s draft.

Plus, they could be interested in giving up Thomas Bryant seeing as he is recovering from ACL surgery this past year and since the Wizards have both Daniel Gafford and Montrezl Harrell now.

Giving up Wiggins, Wiseman and Moody may not be something the Warriors will be too keen on, especially since that is a large chunk of their young core for the future, but there is no denying that adding Bradley Beal to this Warriors roster makes them the best offensive team in the league at full-strength. However, their defense would take a big hit since Curry, Beal and Thompson would make up a small rotation that could easily be beat inside.

Again, a trade for Bradley Beal seems unlikely to happen right now or anytime this offseason since he is up for a big contract extension next offseason, but do not count out the now All-NBA shooting guard to be traded within the next year.

Washington is not going to be a real threat for quite some time, even with the addition of another All-Star, which is why it is realistic to think that Bradley Beal could request a trade sometime over the next season or two.
