Trade Ideas To Move Key Stars In Recent Rumors: Beal, Simmons, Lillard

NBA Analysis Network

The NBA offseason is always full of trade rumors including some of the biggest stars in the league, but this offseason has been very intriguing in particular because of some of the stars involved in trade rumors. This summer, guys like Ben Simmons, Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal have all been included in trade discussions among teams and all three guys are All-NBA performers.

Philadelphia has been very engaged in trade talks over the last few months involving All-Star big man Ben Simmons, but their asking price seems to be extremely high.

After losing to the Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, a lot of the scrutiny for the Sixers’ lost revolved around Ben Simmons’ inefficiencies to contribute on offense, which is why the 76ers are interested in moving him, but they have been unwilling to come down on their insanely high asking price.

Damian Lillard has been in Portland his entire 9-year NBA career, but after the recent firing of Terry Stotts, hiring of Chauncey Billups and unwillingness by the Blazers’ front-office to make big moves to turn this roster into a real contender, Lillard could very well be running out of chances to give his team.

Portland has Lillard and McCollum, but to think they can contend for a title is a little crazy, especially since the Jazz, Suns, Lakers, Warriors, Clippers and Nuggets are all real title threats at full-strength.

Washington has not been in the news as much as Portland and Philadelphia in regards to Bradley Beal, but he is still an All-Star who finds himself involved in trade rumors time and time again because of the Wizards inability to build around him. Beal is one of the best scorers in the league and is in the prime of his career, which is why he could wind up requesting a trade from Washington in order to try and win a title.
