TJ Warren – Indiana Pacers
Given that he missed pretty much the entire 2020-21 season due to a foot injury he sustained just four games into the year, the 2021-22 season won’t necessarily be a “bounce-back” year for TJ Warren in the sense that he played badly the season before, but he is going to have to prove that he can play at a high-level like he did in the NBA Bubble back in 2020.
Entering the 2021-22 season, the Pacers have a lot of questions to answer about their roster and this is going to be a contract year for TJ Warren. He is entering the final year of his contract and is making $12.6M, so if he wants to get paid like one of the better wings in the league, he is going to have to bring it all season long.
In the NBA Bubble in 2020, Warren averaged 26.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 10 games and was the resumption of play MVP. In an offense with Brogdon, Sabonis, Turner and now LeVert, TJ Warren will really have to play well in order to be one of the “the guys” for the Pacers all season long.
He has the potential to be one of the better overall wings in the league, but coming off this foot injury, it should be interesting to see how well TJ Warren does.

Indiana has a lot of potential to be a great team in the Eastern Conference given their starting five, so the role TJ Warren holds for this team could not only decide their fate, but his fate as a star wing in this league.
