Paul Millsap
Veteran Paul Millsap is nearing the end of his NBA career. He has seen his minutes per game decrease in four consecutive seasons, and it would not be a shock to see it happen a fifth straight season this year.
Despite no longer being able to provide starter’s minutes, Millsap can still help a team out that needs a veteran presence in the frontcourt. His per-36 minute stats are still pretty comparable across the board this past season when looking at his entire career.
Millsap does have a bit of a market. His defensive presence, ability to shoot the 3-pointer adequately and vast experience are something that will appeal to contending teams. He has played in 129 postseason games but has yet to reach an NBA Finals. So, playing for a contender is something that would certainly appeal to him.
There is no shortage of teams that feel they are contenders that would love to have Millsap in the fold. The Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks have all been linked to or would be good fits for Millsap.

Ultimately, Paul Millsap will decide to sign with the Nets. They will provide him a chance to not only compete for a title but a spot in a rotation to still get minutes. That isn’t a combination the other teams can realistically offer at this time.
