Larry Nance Jr.
The Cleveland Cavaliers upgraded their frontcourt in a major way this offseason. With the third pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Cleveland selected USC big man, Evan Mobley.
Mobley should slot right into the starting lineup alongside Jarrett Allen, giving the Cavaliers one of the best young frontcourt duos in the NBA. There is a chance that the two can develop and be a fit alongside each other, but Mobley’s long-time fit may ultimately be at the center spot.
But, for now, Cleveland will try pairing them together. That then begs the question, what will happen with Larry Nance Jr.? Nance has been a good player for the Cavaliers, but with two building blocks in the frontcourt, his outlook in Cleveland has changed drastically.
Numerous teams have tried to acquire Nance from the Cavaliers but to no avail. Sources say that it will take a lot to pry Nance away from Cleveland, which makes sense.

Nance will be on the Cavaliers at the start of the season. He will make it until the trade deadline, which will be when a team makes Koby Altman an offer he can’t refuse for Nance. Whether it is a team making a playoff push or a franchise compensating for an injury, Larry Nance Jr. will be traded at the 2022 NBA Trade Deadline.
