Would this trade make sense for the Orlando Magic?
The Orlando Magic moved Nikola Vucevic, Evan Fournier, and Aaron Gordon at the NBA trade deadline this season. They finished with one of the top picks in the draft and landed their leader moving forward.
The Magic can continue to upgrade the backcourt with another promising young talent. It is not surprising that the guard position is the most important in the league. Orlando has plenty of options with what to do this offseason.
Cole Anthony showed some flashes of potential in his rookie campaign, but regardless, projects as being an inefficient guard who is undersized. He would have to be featured in the return for Herro.
Herro has a chance to take over a leadership role on a young team looking to climb up the standings in the Eastern Conference. He would fit nicely alongside Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner on the perimeter.
