3. Svi Mykhailiuk

Svi Mykhailiuk began his career with the Lakers before joining the Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder. Last season he shot 33% from three-point range but this has been a strong aspect of his game during his career. Mykhailiuk is a career 26% three-point shooter and this is what could intrigue the Lakers as the offseason continues.

Los Angeles should be interested in adding some prowess from beyond the arc. This is beneficial with the players they have handling the ball.

On the defensive side of the ball, Mykhailiuk is not lock down but he gives maximum effort and has the size to hound defenders. At 6-foot-7, Mykhailiuk can guard multiple positions and this brings versatility.

Offensively, the Lakers could find more in his offensive game. Mykhailiuk has a chance to play valuable minutes in the middle of the game as a two or three guard.

This is a chance for the Lakers to give Mykhailiuk a second chance in Los Angeles. With their current game plan, he could be a good fit on both ends of the floor.
