Where Will Ben Simmons Be Playing?

There weren’t as many big trades this offseason as many people had predicted. Russell Westbrook was the biggest name traded, as Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard look like they will remain with their respective teams, for now. But, that will change with Ben Simmons.

Simmons is destined to be traded away by the Philadelphia 76ers sometime before the 2021-22 season begins. He has cut off communication with the organization, as all discussions go through his agent. Now the question remains, where will he end up?

His preference would be to land with one of the California-based teams, with the Golden State Warriors being mentioned as a possibility. He does not want to play for the Portland Trail Blazers or Toronto Raptors because of his social life.

At this point, the 76ers will trade him to whichever team gives them the best trade package. They sent ridiculous offers to the Warriors, Raptors and San Antonio Spurs in exchange for him that were all declined.

Daryl Morey and the 76ers are reportedly motivated to move Simmons, but they will have to set a more realistic asking price to do so.
