3. New Orleans Pelicans
The No. 1 goal for the New Orleans Pelicans is to upgrade the roster around Zion Williamson. The team needs to start winning, as rumors are already swirling that Williamson’s family does not want him in New Orleans anymore.
The Pelicans have had a peculiar offseason thus far, as the Pelicans started strongly clearing a lot of cap space. But, they did very little with that cap space, as they still didn’t match the offer sheet that Lonzo Ball signed with the Chicago Bulls, executing a sign-and-trade. They traded away a first-round pick to land Devonte’ Graham from the Charlotte Hornets in another sign-and-trade deal to replace Ball.
Graham will help improve the team’s 3-point shooting, which ranked 26th in the NBA. Danilo Gallinari would also help improve the spacing around Williamson and Brandon Ingram.
Gallinari is a 38.2 percent 3-point shooter in his career, knocking down at least 40 percent in three consecutive seasons. He would make a great inside-out pairing with Williamson, who should find even more room to dominate in the paint with the spacing Gallinari would provide.

Gallinari also has 43 games of playing experience. For a young Pelicans team looking to get into the postseason, having veterans that know what it takes to achieve that goal is always a good thing to have on the roster.
