Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder are still in the earlier stages of their rebuild. They have stripped the roster down and right now have one legitimate building block in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
The Thunder are hoping some of their other young players pan out and will be part of the team’s core moving forward as well. But, a lot of their possible foundational pieces are guards and wing players. There aren’t many big men that look like they will factor into the long-term outlook of the organization as Derrick Favors and Mike Muscala are both 30-years old.
Darius Bazley and Isaiah Roby are two players that could be part of the long-term rotation in the frontcourt, but neither has the upside of someone like Mo Bamba.
The Thunder would be able to provide Bamba with the chance to play as many minutes as he could handle at the center position and truly showcase his skill set. If he can continue developing his 3-point shot, Bamba could be one of the best centers in the NBA.

At 23-years old, Bamba would fit the Thunder’s timeline and give them a frontcourt piece to pair with Gilgeous-Alexander in the backcourt to be featured as the team’s core going forward.
