Two former Louisville Cardinals began the day with a bang!

We mentioned earlier how the Bucks and Nets began Day 4 of Las Vegas Summer League and while Milwaukee may have lost this game, Jordan Nwora and Steven Enoch had terrific showings. Starting with Nwora, he was coming off of a 30-point game against the LA Clippers on Day 2 and continued his scoring ways with 22 points against the Nets.

He did struggle with his shot quite a bit, shooting just 9-26 from the floor, including 1-11 from three-point range, but Nwora did not shy away from looking to score and still ended up being the leading-scorer for his team. After being drafted in the second-round last year, Jordan Nwora has continued to grow as an all-around offensive talent and could definitely be in store for a big Year 2 in the league in Milwaukee.

Steven Enoch has never played in an NBA game and spent last year overseas playing in Spain, but he made the most of his playing time in Summer League on Wednesday. Enoch finished with 15 points on 4-5 shooting and he also had 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Coming out of Louisville the same year as Nwora, Steven Enoch was not known to be a top-tier big man, but he definitely fit the mold of being a “bruiser-like” big man in the paint. He can not only contest/block shots defensively, but he really does have a strong touch and feel for the game in the paint on offense.

Not to mention, the young big man can run the floor very well for a center of his size and stature. It really is not crazy to believe that Steven Enoch could very well end up earning himself a contract in the league, or at the very least, a G-League contract by the end of Las Vegas Summer League.

These two former Louisville Cardinals seemed to be the only two Bucks players to show up on Wednesday and as a result, found themselves as two of the biggest “winners” of the day given their individual performances.
